A price change announced before it lands

The minimum order rises from HK$30 to HK$35 on 19 July 2026. Rather than switch it silently:

• A heads-up banner shows for about two weeks before, then clears itself once the change is live
• Enforced on both the app and the server, so the minimum shown always matches the minimum applied

Delivery stays free. The change date is set in code, so it is predictable and easy to adjust for testing.

The owner said prices had changed. Nothing else.

No spreadsheet, no export, no list of what had moved. So we rebuilt the menu ourselves, from photographs of the shelf:

• 27 store screenshots, checked against all 55 products in the live app
• Two drinks disagreed with the app: 蘋果桃桃 and 茉莉奶綠
• A second, independent audit found no further mismatches

Four new drinks shipped in the same pass: 大桔果粒茶, 冰柚檸檬茶, 藍莓果粒茶 and 草莓香蕉撞奶, alongside refreshed photos, icons and options on the existing menu. The client was never asked to send a single row of data.

One tap to fill the most common delivery instructions

Two instructions dominated the order data:

• "Call on arrival" (24.1% of all orders, with customers writing the same instruction in many different ways)
• "Leave at door" (28.7% of all orders)

Two pill buttons now sit above the notes field. Tap to fill, tap again to clear. 38% of orders had no note at all, so the pills are optional.

Reminder when a residential address is missing floor or unit

The address field doesn't capture flat numbers, so we added a non-blocking reminder. It triggers on residential addresses missing floor or unit info, and is exempt when:

• The address is commercial
• Floor or unit keywords are already present

Dismissible, and resets if the address changes.

Returning customers skip re-entering their details

48.8% of customers placed more than one order, and most re-typed the same details every time. Now stored locally and autofilled on return:

• Name and phone
• Delivery notes
• Most recent address
